Babies

I have been browsing photography blogs/websites for newborn/infant photos. I have tons of shots floating around my head and now have a strong desire to photography some babies. I realize I will have my own model shortly but I still would like to practice.

I also want to find some unique props and I wonder where I should look. I don't want to spend a fortune so maybe some thrift shops might have some good finds. My first purchase will be a sheep skin that I have seen at Costco. Naked babes on sheep skins and just gorgeous to me.

Anyway that is my latest photography desire.

T and E

A friend through LP is due with her second baby in just 10 days. A couple of weeks ago she was looking for a photographer to take pregnancy photos of her and her daughter. Though I would not consider myself a photographer I jumped at the chance to practice some skills. Just like the wedding I shot, I was terribly nervous. Anyway it was a quick photoshoot in Sherwood Park (Woodbridge farms) and it went well. T has seen some of the shots and is happy with them (whew). She also gave me permission to post some on this blog.





I am excited because I will get the opportunity to take newborn photos once baby arrives. And who doesn't love a newborn....
